Pros and Cons of Small Town MI

Pros:
1.We have a yard and a porch swing!
2.There is a local coffee house/ice cream parlor
3.Great running/biking/rollerblading/walking paths all along the river!
4.Live near the newly redone beautiful local library branch--2 stories of glass look out onto the river
5.We have a fireplace and beautiful woodwork
6.We have air conditioning
7.There are hashes near-ish to us
8. Have improved proximity to Em & Kari by 50% (now we are one day's drive instead of 2).
9. Have improved proximity to parental units by 33 1/3 % (now 2 day's drive instead of.... anyone? anyone? ..... that's right, 3 days)


Cons:
1.The people down the street have a lawn jockey in their yard
2. coffee house is replete with Moose paraphernalia (spelling?!?)as opposed to pierced vegans and rastafarians like the Someday Cafe in Davis Square
3.miss my friends from Boston area :(
4.Live within 1 hour drive of every relative in Rob's entire extended family
5.Still days-o-driving from my family and friends. arghhh.
