Or really damned close at least! I defended my thesis and it went quite well. My committee said really nice things which was cool as they are all very smart and I respect them a lot. So now i just have to make a few changes to the paper, but feel very comfortable celebrating this weekend w/ a whole bunch o' folks who are also quite happy i'm just about done with this!
As a friend said yesterday, "so does this mean we'll get to like see you and hang out once in a while now?" yes, yes, i think it does! And perhaps i'll even blog a bit more!

Congrats, em! I knew that you would do just fine, though. You'd better have a copy of your thesis on hand when we come to visit...I would LOVE to read it!!!

Thanks! Yes, it does feel waaaay too good...almost good enough to do it all over again!
nah, not that good. hell, i suppose if you cut your arm off and that hurt but at some point it heals up and feels kind of neat and tender and maybe overly sensitive where it was cut off and that's fun and all, but still, you don't cut the other one off to do it all over again!
yeah...brain still not fully functionaly after thesis-izing too long, but maybe some day!

And you can totally read it if you want--it's kinda long (70 pages o' paper, 70 pages o' appendixes--which is the APA way to say appendices..)
