See You In Hell!

Why don't people just kill themselves first?

Why don't the headlines read: "Cowardly loser kills innocent people instead of just offing himself." Maybe we should praise those who go alone instead of taking people with them? Granted suicide isn't something I think should be encouraged in general, but if you're going to kill yourself anyway, why not just do it instead of ruining so many other lives first?

Wouldn't it be much nicer to feel bad about the truck delivery guy who couldn't deal with his inner demons and his mourning family instead of wanting him to come back from the dead so that we could torture the heck out of him for the anguish he inflicted on those young girls and their families?

The cowardice of the PA and CO killers is just pathetic. They both knew they were going to die and thought they'd wreak some havoc first and torture and kill young girls.

Here's a crazed thought, seek counseling. Ask for help. Use restraint. Function in society instead of trying to ruin it. If you are pained about something, don't do the one thing that could make others feel pain that intense. Talk to someone, work through your problems. It's called life. It's hard and sometimes you feel the need to freak out and do it, but don't bring guns and violence into the equation. Work out, scream at a stuffed animal, be a little weird, who cares.

If you can't do that and feel you need to point a gun and shoot--look first at yourself.

I am not encouraging people to kill themselves when they're frustrated or having a hard time. I just really cannot imagine the extent of the damage these people have done. If people need to kill someone and ruin a life, I don't think they should feel such entitlement that they can take others. You control one life-your own.

One more thought:
perhaps the whole media glorification of this asshole is not warranted.

example of useless story

Who cares who this idiot was? They barely mention the victims. Perhaps stories should focus on the young children who were brutally murdered for no reason.

Media glorification of sick people is nothing new. Recognize the names John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Ted Kaczynski, and Jeffrey Dahmer? Any clue on the names of their victims?

It's the human condition. It's why we slow down to look at car wrecks.

I am not shocked at the number of articles about what happened.

I think it's more the tone and the 'how could someone do such a thing?' and 'he was such a great guy' and 'he went to church' type of statement that is getting tedious.

People suck. Not so shocking. It's just lame to treat him like a celebrity and want to know his every move and thought. He was f'ed up.

I thought I'd scream everytime I heard he was soccer dad. Big whoop, like they aren't full of agression, too.

Well put. I wonder if anyone knows anything about those five Amish girls, other than the fact that they're Amish...and that they're girls...and that they were murdered "execution style." What about wat kind of people they were? I'd like to know that.

I also like how the phrase "execution style" is supposed to sum up how someone was killed. What if I've never been a part of an execution? How do I know what style that is? Maybe what one person thinks of as "execution style" is another person's "gangland style." This is all very confusing. Not that I want a demonstration or anything, I'm just saying...

Dig the comments and thanks for the kudos.

I think that soccer dads are just as likely to freak out too.

I'm not completely sure what 'execution style' is either. Especially since we don't really execute people by shooting them, it's lethal injection now. I guess we should all think back to when people were executed by firearms and then we'll truly understand what happened in that classroom? Yup. Pretty stupid.
