I'll take the dead rat

Honestly, whomever was picked for VP wasn't going to impact the way I vote this November.

After reading a few articles and the comments that follow and chatting about with the hubby about all the people who now claim that they'll vote for McCain because their top choice wasn't picked, we came up with a name for those folks - the ratters.

It's like wanting chocolate ice cream. And you are offered vanilla ice cream. And instead of going, "Well, huh, I'd really prefer chocolate over vanilla, but I guess this is better than no ice cream." You decide, "No. I'd rather eat the dead rat."
