Newish jobby job has some perks and I got to go to London for a week a couple weeks ago. It was fun outside of a day with a nasty flu.
I still got a chance to have spotted dick though!

Before I left, my husband said I should try spotted dick while I am there. I said better him than me!?!?
Anywho, it's actually a tasty dessert, but sounds like something you'd get after a wild night of unprotected coitus.
Gotta love the English! They also have tube stops at: "Tooting Broadway" and "West Ham" :)
And apparently you should not ask them about 'fanny packs' and it's not just because they are an atrocious fashion statement :)

This looks exactly like what I had while in London: spotted dick
It's a kind of bread pudding thing with currants in it and then there is hot custard over top of it. Very sweet and rich, but pretty tasty :)
