A holiday devoted to: JAMMIES!!!!!
Happy jammies day to all!
We will start our trip back to my homeland of minotia (or mindrot, depending on your mood), this evening and arrive in the gray 'magic' (???) city in the morn, hopefully after much sleep and snuggling with the bebe. Then we will commence the best holiday in the world--'international jammies day/weekend' where we will lounge around in jammies and frolick with kitties, all whilst having approximately 7 meals a day--hopefully involving cranberry muffins with a ridiculously tasty butter and sugar sauce.
Ellie got new jammies last night to ensure she has enough pairs to make it through the weekend. If we're not wearing real clothing, the baby certainly can't.
May flannel and snuggliness fill the holidays! (oh, and beer....lots of beer.)

I wish you much snuggles and that the local beer purveyor has Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat available. It was that glorious beer we all drank in MNPLS with Y'all and Karicita. And we have found 2 6 packs of late popping up randomly in our local supermarket. Hurray! Leinenkugel rules!! If Sunset Wheat is unavailable, Creamy Dark (yeah the name is kind of naughty-sounding) is lovely too!

EVERY weekend is jammies weekend as far as I'm concerned (only I prefer to call them "comfies"....must be a west-coast vernacular dialect thing).
We do tend to get strange looks while clomping around Home Depot in slippers and a bathrobe, but hey. It's a small price to pay.

Real clothes are completely over-rated. I'm still in jammies (okay, which sucks because i'm sick, but hey, holstein flannel is comfy!)
I need to look for sunset wheat-that was tasty! nummers...and yes, creamy dark does sound a bit naughty--perfect!
But you can get away with anything in home depot. I love it. Covered in paint? Spackle in your hair? you're good to go.
